I got this dress on Saturday when I worked the Crapaud thrift store for a couple hours. I love the fit but the jury is still out on that weird tie-up front. I dunno whether to leave it or cover it up. Or maybe I could highlight it even further with some calico trim and lace, like a vintage Gunne Sax prairie dress.
lace it up like this! you could hide the bow inside or cut the ends and sew them off.

Anyways,
I think you should leave the tie, otherwise it would just be so plain I feel like you would NEED some lace or some other embellishment. But that's just me. Hope I could be of some decision-making help!
